Having a diverse lineup of vendors and low barrier entry fees is what makes our artist markets stand out from the pack. All we ask is you follow a few guidelines.
If you are planning to share your content with Sometimes Art House please consider that we are a pro-BLACK, LGBTQ+, intersectional feminist space. If your art is deemed as a counter to our mission to decolonize artistic spaces you will be rejected.
For starters, email us that you are interested in vending. Please include the name of the event you wish to participate in. It's also imperative that you include the following in your initial email:
Business social media handles
Pictures of your items (one per product)
Video clip of one of your products on display
Brief bio on your business/art
After you've received confirmation, we ask that vendors make a minimum of three posts on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (don't forget to tag us!) We will monitor that this is achieved two days before the event date.
We ask non-board members to pay $15 to participate in our artist markets.

How do I waive the vending fee?
Bring friends to the event. For free events, bring two to three friends. For ticketed shows, bring enough friends to equate around $30. To make sure this happened, give us their name(s) and email address.
Make promo posts (includes reposts) two days before the event date.
Volunteer to help us promote the event. We are always in need of hands to help pull off these events. Your assistance will be based on your communicated strengths as well as the group's needs. Examples of volunteering will look like:
Designing a flyer, posts
Helping us set up/break down
Sharing a resource (artist, DJ, potential business sponsor)
